The African-American History challenge is a national program of the 100 Black Men of America and is provided locally by “The 100” in partnership with IUPUI and IPS Office of Multicultural Education. It is a 20-week history and cultural education program designed to enhance the study of African-American history. There are two divisions – Junior (Grades 6-8) and Senior (Grades 9-12). Participants come from public and private schools or may be sponsored by community organizations and churches. Using the Brain Game format, they compete locally and the winners may represent the Indy “100” at the national competition held during the 100 Black Men of America’s National Conference.
The Program is currently under redevelopment to expand its reach and value for participants.
